The selected active ingredient, a complex of artichoke extract and levan, fights excess fat effectively by activating lipolysis and can thus help to refine the figure, combat cellulite and achieve a slimmer appearance.

The optimal synergistic combination of four different methylxanthines – caffeine, theobromine, theophylline and 7-Methylxanthine (obtained from the caffeine of tea leaves) – reduces the formation and maturation of adipocytes and thus stimulates lipolysis (fat reduction).

The artichoke extract, with its high volume of caffeoylquinic acids, also stimulates microcirculation, thus improving the removal of broken down fat and also having a draining effect.

Levan, a polysaccharide acquired from sugar cane through fermentation, also stimulates fat reduction, provides moisture and prevents skin irritation. Levan also contributes to the tightening and strengthening of the skin through film formation. The grape extract used, acquired from the skins and seeds of French red-wine grapes, with its high volume of polyphenols, has antioxidant properties and thus helps to protect the skin from environmental effects.

Betaine, glycerine and provitamin B5 (panthenol) provide the skin with lasting moisture, have a positive effect on transepidermal water loss and can thus contribute to a smoother appearance.
